At The Upper Hand Day Spa we value each and every one of our clients and consider it a privilege to take care of your health and beauty needs. We know there are many places you can choose to go to for the services we offer, therefore we continually strive for excellence in our field of work so that you will feel confident in your choice to patronize The Upper Hand Day Spa.

Below are listed a few policies and guidelines to help ensure that your time spent with us is fantastic and that you will want to return again and again. Your suggestions and comments are always welcome.

Check In

Please plan to arrive 15 mins early. This allows time for you to fill out and/or review your client record card, freshen up a bit and begin to relax.

Reservations & Cancellation Policy

Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible to ensure availability of a therapist. A valid credit card or debit card is requested at the time your reservation is made. We request a 24 hour notice for individual appointment cancellations & 48 hours notice for packages. Canceling or changing appointments for groups of 3 or more requires 72 hours notice. It is very important that you call in advance if you need to change or cancel your appointment.  Any cancellations made in less than the requested time is subject to a late cancellation fee of 50% of the published price of each service. No shows will be charged 100% of the published price of each service. If a service is part of a prepaid package or gift certificate the session will be forfeited. All cancellations and no show charges are at the discretion of spa management.

In order to respect our clients busy schedules all service visits must end at their appointed times. We regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of the scheduled service time & will be responsible for full service fees, if another clients appointment is impacted.

Giving your credit card number when you book your appointment is confirmation that you understand and agree to our policies.


ALL CLIENTS: A credit card or debit card is required to secure your appointment. For group events or parties a 50% deposit will be required at time of booking.

GIFT CERTIFICATES: Expire 1 year from their purchase date.

CELL PHONES & CHILDREN: So that you may fully enjoy your treatment we ask that cell phones be turned off or on silent. Please make arrangements prior to arriving for children. This is a time of rejuvenation and relaxation.
